tishpaints is an eco-friendly stationery and home decor brand, creating colourful paper goods and homeware designed to bring the outside in and brighten up your day.

Everything you see is eco-friendly and made from recycled materials. I'm passionate about conservation and want to prove to you that being eco-friendly can be beautiful and easy!

About Me

Hi, I'm Tasha. I started tishpaints in the midst of the 2020 pandemic & have been creating & growing my business ever since!

I'm 26 years old & live in Reading, UK, with my golden retriever, Indi. She's an expert in quality control & loves hanging out with me in my studio (especially if I have any snacks!).

For as long as I can remember, I've been painting something. What started as a love of learning how to draw animals has blossomed into a love of all things floral & watercolour related.

If I'm not in my studio, you'll usually find me walking in the countryside somewhere, or hiding away in mid Devon.

Materials & Artwork
Everything you see has originally been hand-painted by me before being edited into its finished product (also by me!).
Every item is made from recycled materials - including my stickers, which are printed on recycled vinyl. My cards are printed onto 270gsm recycled card & come with a recycled kraft envelope.
All of my Prints are printed onto paper that is 80% recycled paper and 20% recycled cotton. This gives them a lovely soft touch & a texture similar to watercolour paper, which makes them look like original artwork in your home.

Packaging
I try to keep my packaging to a minimum:
- All of my cards are sent in a compostable sleeve.
- Stickers are sent in a compostable glassine sleeve for protection.
- Prints are sent in a compostable sleeve with a recycled backboard for protection.
The compostable sleeves can be put in your food or garden waste bin. Occasionally, an order may be sent with tissue paper, shredded paper or a plastic free bubble wrap alternative for extra protection - all of which are recycled & recyclable. Your order will be sent to you in a recycled envelope or box, decorated with tishpaints logo stickers that are printed on recycled paper with a water based adhesive.
UK Based
All of the materials & businesses I use to create my products are based in the UK & have eco-friendly or sustainable creditations. There's no big corporations involved here!

The tishpaints Wildflower Collection

The tishpaints Wildflower Collection was originally released in July 2021, to raise awareness of wildflower conservation in the UK. The UK has lost 97% of it’s wildflower meadows since the 1930’s. They are a life saving habitat for so many animals, who are in danger of losing their homes. Wildflowers attract pollinators, such as butterflies & bees, who are responsible for 1 in every 3 bites of food we eat. They also act as carbon sinks, absorbing carbon from the atmosphere, and helping in the fight against global warming.

For more information about wildflower conservation, I strongly encourage you to check out the Plant Life charity website. Plant Life created National Meadows Day as a yearly event to raise awareness about Wildflower Conservation in the UK.
